CAN YOU SPOT THE SPOTS?
I caught sight of momma and her brand new baby foraging behind our rain tank earlier this week, and ran to grab my camera. With the help of my zoom feature, I managed to nab a couple of quick shots from the balcony, but those babies, they come with great camouflage! Click on the photos to enlarge, and see if you can "spot the spots!"

fawns are adorable but the sadness behind this is this is a second season fawn. We have more deer than ecosystem can support, not enough apex predators to keep their numbers down, and dumb people who insist on feeding them, usually the wrong food. The extra food tells the deer that it's optimal conditions to make .... more deer.
But that doesn't change the fact that fawns are beautiful and adorable.
