The one in the first few shots at the top there was just amazing. It was in Paris, at some museum that faced the Seine, near the Eiffel Tower. I couldn't believe how many color and texture variations they managed to weave into it!

Beautiful. Amazing!
How did they do it? Tell me you dug into the greenery for answers...

Well, I poked around, but it was hard to tell for certain. On that top one, it looked like they had some type of mesh fabric with soil/moss behind it, and the plants were just poked into it. There must have been a drip irrigation system that went around the entire building, because there was a drain that ran along the bottom of the walls, and there was a steady drip of water coming off the plants and dropping into the drain. I also saw something else that I need to post pictures of, then send to the landscaper I used to work for. They were replanting the medians in Marseilles, and a crane was unloading pallets stacked with similar sheets of fabric/moss that had a bunch of different plants already poked into it, and all the work crew had to do was spread them out and lay them down over the beds. It took a fraction of the time it used to take our crews, when my boss and I laid out 1,000s of little pots just the way we wanted them, then the crew had to dig all the little holes, pop the plants out of their pots etc. It was amazing!
