Believe it or not, I use a simple point and shoot that fits in my pocket. I know absolutely nothing about photography or photoshop or anything! Before I started this blog, John took all the photos in this family. Actually, if you look back at the early posts, I hardly used photos at all, and when I did, they were usually his. Then I got where I really liked having them in each post, and it was a pain to wait for him to get the particular shot I needed, so I just started doing it myself. I usually take at least 5 or 6 snaps of each thing, and pray that one turns out ok, but in this instance I just got lucky, cuz those are the only two I took. Periodically John upgrades my little camera (whether I want him to or not) and the latest incarnation is a Panasonic Lumix. I don't have to set or adjust anything on this one -- it does it all for you!
Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable. ~ Helen Keller

I 'clicked' on the second pic and was engrossed with the wonderful detail of stamens and pistils and petals and branches and buds.
Great photo!
Give some details about your camera; have you taken a class?
Aahhhh.....springtime in the Hill Country. It is truly magical.
Thank you HCH.
