Looks like, instead of "The dog ate my homework" its "the deer ate my garden". Good luck with the aspargus. I raised some in Sunset after the experts told me I couldn't. Hope your beans recover. We've been eating beans for the past two weeks from my little patch, plus Alma froze 4 quarts.

I did pretty well with growing asparagus in wine barrels in Dallas. Not sure why mine didn't come up here, unless it was because I kept them in the house for too long before I got around to planting them.
