SYNCHRONICITY!!! This recipe is exactly what I needed. Tonight I'll make it using the artichoke goat cheese I need to use up. Then I'm going to play with it to see if I can recreate that delectable tomato pie that Kerbey Lane Cafe has on their seasonal menu - the one with fresh roasted tomatoes, green onion, basil, garlic and feta cheese baked in an herbed pie crust, topped with more feta and black olives. Muchas Gracias!
As for the squash blossoms, sad news. I noticed they were covered in ants when I took that picture, so I bagged them up and stuck them in the freezer for a few seconds just to kill the ants. Should have known better. As I was crawling into bed last night, it occurred to me that I never remembered to take them back out again. I took them out then and moved them to the frig, and this morning they looked pretty soggy. Not sure if I can stuff them with goat cheese and flash fry them as I'd hoped. May just have to use them as a salad garnish or something. Good thing they were cheap!
Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable. ~ Helen Keller

Even soggy they'll be perfect in a frittata.
