Haven't made it yet. Found most of what I needed right here at Brookshire Bros., but my recipe says you can either use Lux flakes, or you can grate up a bar of "pure soap." Well, they had a bar of something called Zote, which is "white laundry soap with a minimum fatty acid content of 66%", but I'm not sure if that is the same thing as pure soap. I need to ask around. Anybody know?

Love the "To-Do" list and drawing. But forgive the deer for eating your vegetables??? You're are a very good person!
Notice I said "try" to forgive - haven't been 100% successful with that!
Becky, how did your laundry detergent turn out? I've heard of lots of people doing it but I've never tried it myself.
