Wow, hasn't this rain been wonderful (even tho' chilly and gray outside)?! The burn ban is still in effect though. We're not outta the drought by a long ways. What is a Topsy Turvie? My heart sympathizes with your 'aaaaaackkkk, where's our water tank system now'. ;-(
Oh and thanx so much for ID'ing the Mx Birds of Paradise; did you grow them in Houston?
Topsy Turvies are those funny hanging basket things for growing tomatoes upside down. My gadget-loving husband couldn't resist ordering them, but I have to admit, I never saw a single bug or worm on them last season.
The MBP in the photo was in our Houston garden, but I have them planted here as well. The people at the feed store (where we get our plants) claimed they do OK here, but I'm waiting to see if they come back after all the freezes we've had. I'll let you know.
Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable. ~ Helen Keller
