Did you see it? That endless sea of hopeful, inspired, optimistic faces, that stretched out in every direction from the capitol, as far as the eye could see? Did you hear it? That straight-talking voice coming from a politician's mouth, of all places? Dear God, please let us all truly listen to what he is saying, and band together to help him do what needs to be done.
For the second week in a row, our usual coffee-house meet-up of the Muses had to be set aside for more important things. Last week it was the county commissioner's meeting, this week it was Obama-rama at Debi's house. We watched the inauguration, ate wonderful food, and re-purposed stacks of old Christmas cards into gift tags. On the whole, a most inspirational and productive day!
