Omigosh! That first pic cracked me up----is he wearing chaps studded with teddy bears and christmas lights??!! That definitely qualifies for the "Keep Austin Weird" award (even tho' it's in Houston.) Loved the belly dancers; that certainly proves how warm the evening was.

I'm fixin' to make a version of your Spiced Pecans---only with walnuts and sriracha. I'll let you know how the substitutions turned out.

Aren't you proud of yourself for being so on-top of the pre-Christmas 'must-dos'? Those Flylady habits must be really sinking in!

I sent a link to your 11/15 post to my Belgian friend whose husband has strung up lights on their porch/patio---she loves it so much she's decided to keep them up all year!! Yee-high......

Yes, it was such an Austiny event, I kept having to remind myself of which city I was in. The guy with the chaps was funny. I just wanted to snap a picture of him alone, but he said "Nope, can't have it unless you get in it with me!", so John took it for me.
