According to my research, one should pick all the little baby peaches off of a newly planted tree, so it can concentrate on building up strength and establishing roots. So off they went, into the compost bin. So sad.

No, we never did find any here, unfortunately, which is why I'll be extra nice to Outdoor Woman next year, coming into spring. Her property is the mother lode! Found an entire book on Morels at the library this week, but haven't had a chance to peruse it yet.
